Student Associate is a free online-only membership, without voting rights, for full-time students enrolled in undergraduate, Honours, Masters and PhD physics programs at Australian universities.

If you are studying aPhD or Masters degree, it is worth considering upgrading to the membership level: Member full-time student  or Associate full-time student to have full membership at a greatly reduced student fee. You would receive physical copies of the Australian Physics magazine, voting rights, discounted rate for the AIP Congress and Summer Meetings, and the ability to apply for AIP awards, prizes and travel grants. To apply for a change of membership level log in to your member profile and select the "Change Membership Level" option.
