Acknowledgment of Country

The Wagga2026/AC2MP2026 will take place on the traditional lands of the Wiradjuri peoples. We pay our respects to Elders past and present and celebrate the diversity of First Nations peoples and their ongoing cultures and connections to the lands and waters of Australia. Wagga Wagga is located in the Riverina region of southern New South Wales, and the name “Wagga Wagga” comes from the Wiradjuri word “Wagga,” meaning “a place to dance”
