The 2025 WA Student Conference is open to undergraduate, honours, masters and PhD students undertaking courses in physics from universities across WA. The conference offers opportunities to showcase your research, and network with industry partners, peers and academic experts in the field.  We are open for registrations with a week left for registrations.

This is a Fully Catered event with Food and Drinks freely available for the whole day session with Networking opportunities and Peer Support.

Registration is required for this event and places are limited. Three ticket types are available to students:

1. FREE registration for students presenting a talk or poster
2. FREE registration for financial AIP members
3. Registration for non-members*^ - $50

Students wishing to give a presentation must register, including submitting a 1 page abstract (pdf), by 10 November  (extended deadline). Students will be notified by 11 November if their abstract has been accepted.

*We strongly encourage students to become financial members of the AIP.  Fees for full-time students for 2025 are only $30! From 1 November students can join for membership to the end of 2026 for only $50. More information on how to join is available here. 

^Cancellations made at least 3 days before the event are eligible for a refund of fees paid less a $10 processing fee. Cancellations after this date are not eligible for a refund.
