2022 AIP Physics in Industry Day
Attaining iQ (industrial Quantum)
Thursday 1st December 2022
Our Topic in 2022 - Achieving a Quantum Industry in Australia
This year, after two-year COVID break, we are returning to our vibrant, in-person format and will be addressing the topic of Australia’s Future Quantum Industry.
Quantum is receiving a lot of attention at the moment and exciting a lot of people with the potential to generate a high-value, export industry for our nation. There is a lot of great quantum science in Australia and so our challenge is to translate this into an industry.
In 2022, our topic will explore how Australia can exploit the potential of quantum technology to establish a national industry as described in CSIRO’s quantum roadmap “Growing Australia’s Quantum Technology Industry” (Growing Australia's Quantum Technology Industry - CSIRO).
CSIRO is currently recruiting to fill numerous quantum research roles: CSIRO JOBS
