Fellowship of the AIP (FAIP) is an honour that recognises significant acknowledged impact over a sustained period (view further guidance here).
Application Process:
Nominations for AIP Fellowship* require letters from a Proposer and a Seconder (or Supporter) outlining the applicant’s significant contributions to physics. The Proposer and Seconder must both be current AIP Fellows and know the applicant personally. Applications should also include a short CV or equivalent, e.g. a link to an organization profile page.
Nominations will include a one-line citation, which will be recorded on the AIP website.
Applicants who select one of the "Fellow with cognate" options must also provide proof of their cognate society membership.
*Existing or lapsed members who wish to apply for change of membership level should log in to their member profile and select the "Change Membership Level" option.
